AN INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE TREATMENT

What to expect:

An initial consultation  and the opportunity to ask any questions, discuss any issues or concerns you may have.

An Indian Head Massage treatment, can be carried out with or without oils and can be done through light clothing. You may prefer to be seated or lie down on the therapy couch. The choice is yours.

The treatment will start with the shoulders as it is often this area especially, which holds a lot of tension. Working along the upper back and around the shoulder blade, flowing motions will move up the neck, massaging and stretching to relieve any stress and tension. The scalp is then massaged along the acupressure points on the head, and followed up by the forehead and the area around the eyes.

Regardless of whether oils are used or not, the technique for the massage may have a naturally conditioning effect and may increase natural hair oil.

If you are looking for a treatment to help you relax and take time out for yourself, it is suggested to have an Indian head massage every 2-4 weeks.

Please note, it is important that the therapy is not used in place of medical care but as a complementary addition to your wellness and well-being.
